Chosen as official charity for Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week 2012 is Toe in the Water.
Amongst activities to support this charity is a Vintage Evening Supper to be held at Northwood House on Sunday 12th August.
To enable the evening to go well Lanson Champagne have been working closely with Toe in the Water to help sponsor the evening and make sure it is really a Vintage evening to remember.
The Black Knights display
Another event to support the charity is a display by The Black Knights – the Royal Artillery Parachute Display Team – on Tuesday 14th August.
This will take place just off Trinity Landing and The Parade.
Racing two yachts with sailing legends
However, Lloyd Hamilton MBE, Racing Director from Toe in the Water said that as well as the charity work”¦.. “We will be entering two yachts, a Farr 52 ‘TOE IN THE WATER’ generously donated to us earlier this year, and the British Army’s A40RC which will be racing as ‘TOE IN THE WATER TOO’.
“These two high performance yachts give us the capacity to accommodate even more patients with an even greater range of injuries and we’re also looking forward to having around the world legends Dee Caffari MBE and Cowes based Brian Thompson at the helm with us again during the week.”
