Sandown is set to become the hub of culinary delight this weekend.
Boojum and Snark, a notable venue in the town, will host the Craft Cider and Artisan Cheese Festival from Friday to Sunday.
A weekend of flavours
The highlight of the festival will undoubtedly be the handpicked range of craft ciders, sourced directly from award-winning farms in Somerset. These ciders have been specially selected to pair harmoniously with a curated assortment of cheeses.
Local aficionados will be pleased to learn that the Isle of Wight cheese from Briddlesford Dairy will feature prominently. This regional favourite will be complemented by select Somerset cheese, chosen especially for the event.
Brews and tunes
However, it’s not just about the cider and cheese. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy craft beer on tap. With the vast selection available, both newcomers and enthusiasts are sure to find a brew to their liking.
Come Saturday evening, the festival will kick up a notch with live music. Guests can look forward to unwinding with their cider in hand, while being serenaded by some of the finest local musicians.
Sunday fun-day
If you’re planning to visit on Sunday, be prepared for a twist. A lively pub quiz will be organised in the afternoon, offering attendees a chance to test their knowledge and win exciting prizes.
Book your place now for the quiz by getting in touch with B&S via their Website, Facebook or Instagram accounts.
