A Crowdfunding appeal has been launched to fund the funeral of a woman in her 20s who was tragically found dead on Thursday last week.
26-year-old Tash Pink’s family say she had “lost her battle to her demons” having “struggled with her mental health for all her adult life”.
Alix Linnett, Tash’s step sister has set up the fundraiser – which at time of publishing had already raised £3,257 of the £4,000 target – because she explained the family are still trying to understand what has happened and to grieve their loss, as well as having to work out how they’re going to provide Tash with a beautiful send off.
No money for funeral
Alix explains,
“As Tash was 26, she had no means or plans to save for a funeral. This means that we need to find thousands of pounds for a funeral, so the family also have to deal with this practical dilemma too.
“Financial difficulty at this already very stressful and upsetting time is the last thing I want Tash’s family to go through.
“Tash and the rest of her family deserve to have a beautiful send off for her so we can properly start the grieving process and remember the good times we had with her.”
