I was wandering around Shanklin when I remembered I wanted a 2 litre bottle of fizzystuff.
I went in to the Co-op shop but they didn’t have the fizzytype I was after.
So I hovered.
Then I reasoned the taste didn’t matter really – it’s all good stuff when the sun is shining, so I selected one.
Then I saw the notice – £2.15 each or £2.50 for two.
Well, I wasn’t going to buy one for £2.15 when I could have two for £2.50.
But on the other hand, it wasn’t the flavour I really wanted.
So I left without buying anything.
Now I’m running out of fizzy, so quite soon now I will need to go into a shop and buy some more. I don’t suppose they’ll have a two for one offer, but I’ll probably buy two anyway, to save time. Even if it’s not the flavour I’m after.
I’m glad I’m not a shopkeeper having to deal with blokes like me.
