Michele Le Quesne Newton, Chair of Daisy Ring Bus CIC, has announced the release of a new charity single to mark the launch of the charity’s Portsmouth service.
The song, titled “Lean on Me” and performed by Anna Newton, is available now.
Supporting the community through music
Michele says the charity believes no one should have to face life’s challenges alone.
She explains that the organisation is proud to share “Lean on Me” – a song produced by Guy of Mustard Studios and sung by her daughter, Anna Newton, created as a heartfelt gift in support of Daisy Ring Bus. Michele says,
“The song is about trust, reassurance, and being there for one another when life feels heavy.”
Message aligns with charity values
She adds that from the moment she first heard the song, its message felt deeply aligned with the values at the heart of the charity.
Michele expresses gratitude to Anna for using her music in this way, and for helping raise awareness of the support Daisy Ring Bus provides every day within the community.

Call to listen and support
Michele urges people to make “Lean on Me” their song of the day. She adds,
“If you need the reminder — it’s okay to lean on others.”
She thanks supporters for their continued backing of the charity.
