As members of the public and media have been restricted from going anywhere near the landslip on Undercliff Drive, the Isle of Wight council yesterday released photos of the area.
Residents from nine properties on the section by the landslip have followed advice from the Isle of Wight council and moved out. Members of the military and Coastguard have been assisting over the last week.
One home condemned
At least one property has been condemned by building control. You can see in the photos below, the garden of the condemned bungalow has stepped down considerably in the last week.
Our thoughts are with all those residents who’ve had to leave their homes at very short notice, some having lived for decades in the same house.
