As mentioned in our earlier posting about Death in Ventnor, a second screening takes place this month.
This time the full length feature film, written and directed by Ventnor film maker David George, will be screened at the Ventnor Winter Gardens.
Without giving too much away, Death in Ventnor is a story of two blokes who come to the Isle of Wight to rob a post office, then get stuck here.
The film was made on a tiny budget and features tons of local actors as well as ordinary folk and, of course, countless stunning locations.
We loved the dialogue and pace of the film which has some brilliant gags in it and it’s certainly great fun spotting all people or places we knew well.
This screening is being held in aid of The Real World Trust and with ticket at just £5 (available on the night) it’s one event you can’t afford to miss.
The film was completed hours before the premiere screening and the team tell us that they still have some final tweeks to do before entering it into festivals, but regardless of that, this event is going to be something well worth making the effort to attend.
Btw, the film is definitely not child friendly as the language of the no-good crooks is particularly colourful.
