The final part of the switch-over on the Isle of Wight to Digital TV occurred last night, with the remaining analogue channels (BBC1, ITV and Channel 4) being turned off.
After re-tuning the TV, the full range of Digital channels should now be available. Down in Ventnor, we get 31 channels, of which 18 are TV, 11 radio and two interactive.
We hit ‘auto-tune’ on our TV this morning and it happily picked them all up, but a little while later the picture fizzled and disappeared. Not sure how it is now.
