Dinosaur Island App – Hanover point – Setting

You’ll find the Hanover Point site, just off the Military Road (A3055) at Compton Bay.

It’s a very popular spot in the Summer – both with people who want to make the most of the wide sandy beaches that stretch into the distance at low tide, and with the surfers, who hold this as a special spot in their hearts.

Finding it
To find the Hanover point meteorite to trigger your Dinosaur Island App, park in the car park (charges apply each day until 6pm) and walk west towards the wooden steps that lead down to the beach. Continue on a little further beyond those and slightly to the right and you’ll find the meteorite.
