The very first B Corp event to be held on the Isle of Wight, and a special collaboration with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, takes place this week.
Wild Companions: Business for Nature, has been organised by B Local Hampshire, Dorset and IW in partnership with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust (HIWWT), takes place on Thursday 12th June, from 2pm to 4.30pm at Little Duxmore Farm in Havenstreet.
Why this matters
Historic Island first: This is the first B Corp-focused event ever held on the Isle of Wight, an opportunity to spotlight how local businesses can drive environmental and social impact through the B Corp movement.
Business + Biodiversity: Explore how companies like The Garlic Farm, Isle of Wight Distillery, Isle of Wight Tomatoes and Meaningful Planet are integrating purpose, profit, and nature.
Action-led insights: Jamie Marsh (HIWWT’s Director of Nature Recovery) will share real-world progress on landscape-scale rewilding on the Island.
Up-close experience: A guided tour through Little Duxmore’s rewilded meadows and woodland, showcasing a hands-on vision of nature-led land use.
