For the first time, some of the Isle of Wight’s most celebrated food and drink brands with venues open to the public have joined forces to invite residents and visitors to discover the people, places and produce that make the Island such a unique food and drink destination.
Ten producers, ten venues
The newly launched Island Foodie Collective brings together ten independent businesses whose brands have become synonymous with quality Isle of Wight food and drink.
What makes this collaboration particularly special is that every member not only produces its own distinctive food or drink products, but also offers a venue where visitors can experience those products first-hand.

Members include Adgestone Vineyard, Briddlesford Farm, Caffe Isola, Goddards Brewery, Harvey Browns, Isle of Wight Distillery, Nunwell Farm Kitchen and Braai, Quarr Abbey, The Garlic Farm and Wight Knuckle at The Point Bembridge.

A trail to explore
At the heart of the initiative is a new visitor leaflet designed to encourage people to explore the Island, discover local producers and experience the stories behind the food and drink they enjoy.
The collective showcases the diversity of the Island’s food and drink offering – from award-winning cheeses and dairy products, artisan coffee and locally brewed ales, to English sparkling wine, premium spirits, seasonal produce and farm-to-table dining experiences.

Supporting the local economy
As interest in food tourism continues to grow, the Island Foodie Collective aims to make it easier for visitors to connect with local businesses while supporting the farmers, growers, makers and hospitality venues that contribute so much to the Island economy.

Something new to discover
Jemma at Harvey Browns said,
“The Isle of Wight is home to an incredible community of independent food and drink businesses, each with its own story to tell.
“The collective is about celebrating that diversity and encouraging people to explore beyond the familiar.
“Whether you’re visiting the Island for the first time or have lived here all your life, there is always something new to discover.”
The initiative reflects a growing appetite for authentic food experiences and local provenance, giving visitors the opportunity to meet producers, visit working farms and vineyards, enjoy locally sourced menus and discover products made right here on the Island.

Where to find the map
The Island Foodie Collective map is available from participating businesses and ferry terminals and highlights locations across the Island where visitors can eat, drink, shop and explore.
