Poppy is a lifelong resident of Ryde, and a lifelong miniaturist and dolls’ house enthusiast.
All of Poppy’s houses tell a story
Poppy has been working with dolls’ houses for many years; making new houses, restoring old and finding new uses for everyday items in the big world to repurpose them in the miniature world.
All of her houses tell a story and contain a little piece of history, whether personal to Poppy or Ryde and Island life. For one week only we invite you to come and explore a selection of Poppy’s collection.

Life in Miniature: Auntie Poppy’s Dolls’ Houses can be seen at Acons Gallery, Monkton Arts, 11 East Street, Ryde from 16th to 20th January 2023.
Meet Poppy at the opening night, 5-7pm, Monday 16th January.
