Dogs Walk the Wight to Raise Money for the Islands Hospice

The Earl Mountbatten Hospice are always coming up with great ideas on how to raise funds and awareness for the excellent charity.

Dogs Walk the Wight to Raise Money for the Islands HospiceWith the large number of dog owners on the Wight, we reckon this one’ll be very popular.

“Dogs Walk the Wight“ is a challenge to ‘virtually’ walk your dog around the Wight.

After raising sponsorship from your friends and family, you have up to 72 days raise to complete the 72 mile walk.

All you have to do is register with the Hospice. They will issue you with a unique ‘walkies’ number, a special “Dogs Walk the Wight” lanyard, a sponsor form and map of the Island split into 72 squares for you to tick off as you walk.

So, why not take on the challenge, raise some cash for the Hospice and get yourself a medal of achievement at the end?

To register please telephone Hospice Fundraising on 01983 528989.
