You may have noticed that the dulcet tones of Duncan Smith are no longer conveying the news to you on Isle of Wight Radio.
Dear old Dunky has left his position as Head of News there, to help the police with their enquiries! … er, rather their communications.
Since Emma Topping left the police PR team near the beginning of the year, there’s been a gap waiting for the right talent, which Duncan will now fill as the new Media and Corporate Communications Manager for force on the Isle of Wight.
We’re looking forward to dealing with him.
Michael Coombes now in charge
Michael Coombes has rocketed into the position as Head of News at the IW Radio and now has a new colleague in the form of fresh talent, Chloe Aust, after recently completing her Broadcast Journalism course at Highbury College in Portsmouth.
