Early morning road rage incident ends with broken nose

Police on the Isle of Wight are appealing for witnesses after a road rage type incident at the junction to the Fishbourne Ferry at Kite Hill, Wootton Bridge.

A 29-year-old man was attacked by another man and left with a broken nose and injuries to his eye. The two men had stopped their cars on Kite Hill and there was a short verbal argument before the 29-year-old was assaulted.

Victim taken to hospital
An ambulance was called and the victim was taken to hospital.

The victim was driving a silver car and it’s believed the other car involved was Red.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail until March 5 while enquiries continue.
