Further to the appeal for witnesses last week following the van/motorbike collision at Rookley – Ed.
Police can confirm that a 55-year-old East Cowes man was arrested on suspicion of driving without due care and attention.
He has been released on bail until April 21, 2011, pending further enquiries.
