Local Elections 09: Election Adverts Welcome

With the election coming up, we’re open to take adverts from political parties.

Election advertsYou may have noticed a new advert that has appeared in the right hand column of VentnorBlog.

It’s paid for by a collection of people who live on the Isle of Wight who are running as independent candidates at the forthcoming Island-wide elections – parish and county.

Before anyone gets too excited and starts thinking that we’ve become all political – Don’t worry dear. It’s only an advert!

You may remember that a while back we ran a countdown advert for the Conservative MP, Andrew Turner, reminding people of how long was left for them to make submissions to the OFT regarding the ferries. So, you can see that we’ve got no bias.

Advertising welcome
For clarity, we’d be happy to take advertising from political parties of nearly every hue. All they need to do is to get in touch and we’d be happy to give our rates.
