What better reason to run this year’s Bupa Great South Run, then to raise funds for young people in recovery from cancer.

Sign up now to be part of the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust running team and line up with 25,000 other runners from all walks of life in Europe’s leading 10 mile road race, the Bupa Great South Run, Sunday 27th October 2013.

Ten mile course
This fast flat 10 mile course through Southsea and Portsmouth takes you past much of Britain’s naval heritage, including HMS Victory and HMS Warrior.

As part of the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust running team you will receive a Trust running top for training and to wear during the race. Support on the day will include meeting the Trust support crew for any last minute words of encouragement, before the whole team comes together once again for after race celebrations at the Trust stand.

Raise at least £150
All team runners are asked to raise a minimum of £150 for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust. Entry fee is £40 payable to the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust at the time of registration.

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust is an Isle of Wight based charity that gives young people in recovery from cancer the chance to rebuild their confidence through sailing. Celebrating their 10 year anniversary, the Trust has grown beyond every expectation into a national charity. Working with every young person’s primary cancer care unit in the UK, taking young people aged between 8-24 who are recovering from cancer on four-day sailing trips.
