Children and staff at the Isle of Wight pre-school have made a replica model of Helimed56 and have begun collecting their ten pence coins. Schools across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight have raised over £5,000 for the Charity and there is still time to join in and support the life-saving service.
Compared to the year before the number of Isle of Wight patients being airlifted to the mainland for emergency hospital treatment has dropped significantly. OnTheWight has the details.
