Eight houses are still planned for land in Binstead owned by Isle of Wight engineering firm, Clarks Masts Systems Limited.
They were previously given the green light in 2017, by the Isle of Wight council, but work has not yet started and the time frame for completion has now elapsed.
Minor amendments
Planning agent, BCM, acting for Evergreen Holdings Ltd, which owns Clarks Masts, said minor amendments, like porches and patio doors, have been made, to appeal to potential buyers.
The houses would all have three bedrooms and would be arranged in two terraces of four.
Amendments will enhance the street scene
Under this new plan, they will be more attractive and enhance the street scene, say the developers.
The Binstead firm makes pneumatic telescopic and sectional mast systems for civilian and military use, at its Ringwood Road base.

You can view the plans, 23/00188/FUL, on the council’s planning application. The public consultation runs until 31st March.
A separate application for another part of the site could see the partial demolition of the factory building, replaced with a smaller, newer one and more houses.
