County Hall:

Executive expected to give budget go ahead for work on Totland seawall and Undercliff Drive

Members of the Isle of Wight Executive will next week be asked to approve expenditure of just over £1.5m on various projects around the Isle of Wight including Undercliff Drive and Totland Seawall.

Members had previously deferred making a decision on some of the schemes until a full picture of financial constraints was available.

A list of eleven items will be considered, with budget allocation expected to be approved on ten items.

Any agreement on further expenditure on Cowes Enterprise College is on hold, as well as any budget allocation for the Rush Close landslip (Shanklin Railway Cutting) as papers say the council is considering whether there is any legal liability prior to providing a further report in due course.

Full details of the schemes that are expected to be approved are detailed in the appendix, embedded below for your convenience.
