Postal registration for this year’s Walk the Wight is only available for one more week.
Mountbatten’s flagship event takes place on Sunday, 12th May but packs and walker numbers can only be sent in the post to those who register before 9am on Thursday, 18th April.
From that date, online registration for both Walk the Wight and Schools Walk the Wight will still be possible but walker numbers can only be collected from your chosen start line on the day.
White: Record-breaking £460,000 raised last year
Lorraine White, Mountbatten’s fundraising manager, said,
“We can’t believe it’s just one month until the big day – the countdown to Walk the Wight 2024 is well and truly on.
“If you are somebody who likes to receive your pack and walker number in the post, then now is the time to register.
“We’re so excited to welcome thousands of people to the start lines on Sunday, 12th May.
“Last year, Walk the Wight scooped two top awards and raised a record-breaking £460,000 which is going to be a really tough act to follow, but let’s give it a good go!
“As our flagship event, Walk the Wight raises significant funds to support the work we do for people on the Isle of Wight experiencing death, dying and bereavement.
“Please get behind us and Walk the Wight this May.”
