Now the weather seems to have taken a turn for the better, it’s time to get out and about and start planning our weekends. If haven’t already made plans for next weekend don’t forget that Ventnor sees the arrival of the Isle of Arts Festival.
There is so much for residents and visitors to see and do at the festival that you’d be daft not to give it a try. From theatre to comedy, dance to music, walks, talks, there’s even plenty for the kids to do.
The team behind the festival
The festival, which is run as a Community Interest Company (CIC) by four Ventnor residents, is now in its third year.
Janneke, Philip, Gilly and Chris, whilst continuing with their various day-jobs and with the help of the brilliant volunteers they have for the last two years managed to pull off a fantastic weekend for all.
Show your support
If you haven’t checked out the line-up yet, do have a look at the event listings.
We’re sure that you’ll find something of interest.
Our thanks to Isle of Arts for showing their support for OnTheWight by booking a marketing campaign with us for the third year.
