A huge fire at the old castle works industrial units on Castle Road in Wroxall is still being attended by the Isle of Wight Fire service.
Black smoke has been billowing out of the site all afternoon and residents have been advised to keep their doors and windows closed. A a 25m cordon has been in place.
The fire service were called just before 2pm and have seven tenders on the scene and although they are scaling back the operation, are expected to be in attendance overnight.
Several industrial units have been affected by the fire but we understand there have been no casualties.
