Simon Hayes

Follow today’s Hampshire Police and Crime Panel live (Update 3)

The Hampshire Police and Crime Panel is a newly-formed body, created to hold the newly-created role of Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) to account, following the elections back in Novemeber which saw Independant Simon Hayes win.

Today the Panel is being held on the Island and OnTheWight is there, reporting on it live, as it happens. It’s important because the PCC sets the policy for how the Police operate on the Isle of Wight and Hampshire.
