Lots is in preparation for the nearly-here Isle of Wight Festival – you may well have seen the action around the site.
Island public space artists, Ecclestone George, were up on-site yesterday starting to build some groovy little things for the Festival.
Some of these were eighteen nutshell seats which they left to set hard overnight on sand moulds.
Smashed overnight
You can imagine their sadness when they found half of them had been smashed overnight by some buffoon/s.
Those who had stamped on them left pretty clear imprints of their trainers.
We understand that the tread on a pair of trainers can be as distinctive as a fingerprint, so there may be a knock on the door for some of the participants over the next few days.
