Mannequins in Free Will & Myths show

Free Will and Other Myths: A thought-provoking journey at Ventnor Fringe Festival this July

Last updated:

With less than three weeks until the start of this year’s Ventnor Fringe Festival, organisers are reporting record ticket sales. If you haven’t booked yours yet, you’d better get a move on, as many shows are expected to sell out by the weekend.

Free Will and Other Myths
Marina and Charlie want to take you on a journey. A Journey of Stories. A Journey about Choices. The choices we think we have and we think we make. And if we actually make any choices that matter at all.

Now you have the Free Will to choose to come and see it … You do have that choice, right?

Silly, heartfelt and ambitious exploration of Free Will
Free Will and Other Myths is an often silly, sometimes heartfelt and definitely ambitious exploration of Free Will, the choices we have and how our experiences influence who we are and the choices we make.

Audiences can expect difficult questions, few answers, silly and crass jokes and some sterling performances from Mannequins.

A return to the Fringe
This is the second year in a row that Yet To Be have visited Ventnor Fringe Festival. In 2022, we brought our show The Geneva Convention of Human F**ks. We had such a great time that we decided it was the perfect place to try out this new show.

One of only four performances
Free Will and Other Myths is only having four performances all year across the UK as we continue its development.

This won’t be the final or perfect version of the show… but it will be the version where we throw the kitchen sink at it and more.

Where and when
Free Will and Other Myths will be performed on Saturday 22nd July 2023 between 5pm-7pm (with an interval) at St Boniface Studios (The Hall at St Catherine’s Sixth Form College), Leeson Road, Ventnor PO38 1PR.

Tickets are priced at £12 each, £8 for Under 25s, £40 for Group of four, or 2for1 for Culture / Unlimited Pass holders (find out more about this).

Book via the Ventnor Exchange Box Office, by calling (01983) 716767 or by popping into Ventnor Exchange, 11 Church Street, Ventnor PO38 1SW.
