Future Shorts: Free Screening At Quay Arts On Saturday Night

Shot from Love You More:Future Shorts encompasses one of the world’s leading short film distribution labels, representing an extensive and eclectic catalogue of original, award-winning films from across the globe.

In addition the Future Shorts Festival is the biggest pop up film festival of its kind, showcasing the most exciting short films from around the world and is accessible to anyone, anywhere!

‘Museums at Night’
So, as part of ‘Museums at Night’ initiative, Quay Arts is extending its opening hours to screen Future Shorts in The West Gallery Annexe, which includes work from world-famous Directors such as Sam Taylor-Wood with “Love You More” which was also produced by Island-born Oscar winning Director Anthony Minghella, “Mourir Auprès de Toi (To Die By Your Side)” by Spike Jonze and Simon Cahn.

Please note that Future Shorts is Certificate 18.

The screenings in The West Gallery Annexe will be unseated, although some chairs & benches will be provided as well as blankets and cushions for an alternative viewing experience – cosy!

Spaces are limited so please make sure to book your space for one of the two screenings (5:15-6:45pm OR 7-8:30pm). As it is part of ‘Museums at Night’ the rest of the building will also be open for free roaming until 8:30pm, so don’t forget to check out our Piers & Bridges exhibition in The West Gallery during your visit.
