Young people networking at the future works event

Future Works event: Where Isle of Wight’s young creatives connect and collaborate

Future Works is a new(ish) regular, free event for 16-30 year olds on the Isle of Wight to meet new people, make connections, and start collaborating.

Each Future Works event will feature exciting guests from all areas of the creative industries, to discuss different topics around starting your creative career, brought to you by Brave IslandPlatform One and IW Creative Network.

November guest speakers
At our fourth event this year, and with a focus on events, festivals, and performance, we’ll hear from actor and screen writer Joe Bone, creative projects assistant at Ventnor Exchange and circus performer Kai Davies, and creative director from Wonderfell Theatre Company, Vicky Wells.

After our panel discussion, there will be plenty of time for you to meet new people, make connections and start collaborating, all within the relaxing space of Strings Bar and Venue, accompanied with live DJing.
