We hear that last night’s vigil of Island people concerned over the treatment by Israeli security forces of those on the Gaza-aid flotilla was well-attended.
Over the period, fifty people showed up to the site near Somerfields in Ryde. VB was told that there was a good atmosphere and it all went very well.
Next Island vigil: Friday
The next vigil will at 4:30pm on Friday, returning to the Peace Tree at Snooks Hill by Coppins Bridge.
Bus arranged for London demo
There will also be a major demonstration in London on Saturday.
A coach has been arranged leaving at from Southampton Centopaph at 10.15am; Portsmouth Hard 11.00am and Fratton Bridge at 11.15am.
