Collage of MAD-Aid volunteers loading the truck with aid for Ukraine

Gifts and warm clothing delivered to children and soldiers in Ukraine by MAD-Aid

Last Saturday, Isle of Wight-based charity, MAD-Aid, loaded their 34th truck with aid, ready to be delivered to Moldova just in time for Christmas.

The load contained much-needed warm clothes and blankets, as well as gift boxes for children and gift boxes to solders in Ukraine.

Dunford: Thank you very much everyone
MAD-Aid’s founder, Victoria Dunford, said,

“Together with our supporters, we gathered all the presents for the disabled children and youth attending Phoenix Centre.

“We also shipped a number of bikes for children who need them in Moldova. This is for a project ready to roll in the spring.

“With this truck we are finished with our 2022 collection and loading. Thank you very much everyone and see you in 2023.

“Last but not least, a shout-out to Hugh and the horsebox, Mark and Lolly, Mark, John, Mihaela and Jamie who together loaded the truck.”
