Grant deadline looming for those providing holiday activity and food schemes this Easter

Could your organisation help provide holiday activity and food schemes for Isle of Wight young people this Easter?

Are you involved in any of the following organisations?

The Isle of Wight Council are looking for groups like these to apply for funding to provide activities for young Islanders during the Easter holidays:

  • schools
  • colleges
  • nurseries
  • private providers
  • charities
  • youth clubs
  • community groups

What it can be used for
The funding can be spent to provide activities and food for school age children and young people who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals over the Easter school holidays.

This funding is part of the connect4communities programme funded by Department for Education.

Places are also available for children on Education and Health Care Plans (EHCP) or those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Don’t miss the deadline
The deadline for applications is this coming Sunday 20th February.
