Do you fancy doing something fun that all the family can enjoy, and raise money for your favourite charity at the same time?
Why not come along to the very first Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Run For It! fun run event, on Sunday 11th September, start time 11am.
This is a 3.8 kilometre fun run suitable for all ages and abilities.
Taking place near Andover
Run For It! will be held at Thruxton Circuit, near Andover, where you might normally expect to see fast and expensive cars whizzing past on the world renown race track.
This time it will be you on the track and you can Run for it!, or walk, or hop, jog, push the pram or dance if you feel like it. The idea of Run For It! is to have a fun family day out, whilst raising funds for any charity of your choice.
How to enter
It’s easy to enter, simply go to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance website, where you can find all the details, and enter on line, or you can call their Head Office on 02380 333377 for an entry form.
Registration is £8 for adults and £5 for children, under 5s are free. The registration fee will be retained by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, but all sponsorship that you raise will go to the charity which you choose.
Individuals and teams are welcome, so why not get your workmates to Run For It! dressed in fancy costume, or see who has the best ideas for team names. All those who complete the course will receive a medal.
