Readers will already be familiar with comedienne and scriptwriter from the Isle of Wight, Hannah George.
Back in 2009, Hannah was dubbed “officially Britain’s funniest woman,” by The Sun newspaper after being the first woman to gain a degree in comedy.
Award-winning writer
Hannah has been very busy over the last four years. As well as appearing at many festivals, she’s been a contributor to BBC Radio 4’s News Quiz and earlier this year along with fellow Island writer James Whitehouse scooped a Royal Television Society award for BBC children’s drama Wolfblood, which they co-wrote some episodes of.
New short comedy
Hannah has just released her first comedy short film online. It’s written and directed by Hannah and shot entirely on the Island.
Grab ten minutes to take a look and you’ll not only recognise many of the locations chosen, but might perhaps recognise some of those taking part.
