Have A WightFest This Weekend

If you love watching live music and appreciate the talents of the many musicians on the Isle of Wight then the forthcoming WightFest event taking place this Saturday should be just the ticket for you.

WightFest 2009The day long gig, organised to raise money for two worthy charities, Sue Ryder Care and the MS Society features a wealth of Island talent.

This is being pitched as a great family day out with lots for the kids to do if they don’t share your love of music.

On the lineup are some up and coming acts as well as established names such as Gweido and The Chancers.

It’ll only cost you £10 for the day which kicks off at midday and finishes late at night.

The event will be held at the IOW Community Club, Park Road, Cowes.
