Anderson: Proud to have delivered over 836,000 vaccinations
Angela Anderson, Clinical Director for the Solent Vaccination Programme, said,

“It has been a privilege to have been the lead provider of mass vaccination centres and pop-up clinics across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight over the last two years. We are proud to have delivered over 836,000 vaccinations as part of the wider programme and cannot thank our staff, volunteers and partner agencies enough for their support.

“I’d urge people to come forward and get their COVID-19 vaccination ahead of the busy festive period to help protect you and your loved ones – we have walk-in capacity at many of our pop-up clinics and our experienced and friendly staff will be on hand should you have any questions.”

Nisbet: Tireless efforts by vaccine team and countless volunteers
Dr Matt Nisbet, GP and clinical lead for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight COVID Vaccination Programme, said,

“The tireless efforts by Solent NHS Trust’s vaccine team and the countless volunteers who have gone above and beyond to ensure our local communities could quickly and safely access their vaccinations cannot be underestimated.

“I would like to express my thanks, both personally and on behalf of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System for all the team have done to help keep people safe.

“While these clinics will no longer be offering vaccinations, there will remain sites for people yet to get vaccinated and I would urge everyone eligible to come forward as soon as possible.”
