Another consultation taking place at the moment that readers might have an interest in getting involved with, is the Open Space Provision.
It’s part of the ongoing work which will go towards the Island Plan and the Council are hoping that as many residents as possible get involved.
We understand that an audit of all open spaces is taking place at the moment, including open public spaces, playing fields as well as sports facilities. The Council say that the feedback from residents will help them get a better understanding of where improvements can be made.
If you have a view on open spaces or provision of recreation grounds, whether you think they need improving or increasing, your comments will add value to the survey.
So why not grab a cup of tea and take 10-15 minutes out of your day to give your feedback.

The survey should only take 10 to 15 minutes to complete and will be open until 6th December 2009.
