Thanks to Nat for this report from the opening of the Ryde Academy Sixth Form. Ed
On Wednesday 5th February, the Haylands 6th form centre was officially opened by Rob Da Bank.
Also in attendance was the Lady High Sheriff Mary Case, local Councillors, Governors and other local representatives.
Student ambassadors gave tours of the new centre after the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Miss Joanne Muncaster, Head of 6th Form said,
“It has been an amazing first few weeks in the new campus. Students have enjoyed the new facilities and now have a first class learning environment dedicated to them. They have been very patient in waiting for the move and have been really appreciative of the space and provision that has been made for them.”
