You might remember seeing our “One Family Dwelling Covenant” posting last week about Hazelhurst, which was accompanied by the rather excellent cartoon drawn by Barry.
You might also have seen it reproduced in the County Press on Friday. But did anyone notice the variation? We didn’t until it was pointed out to us a couple of days ago.
It seems that the County Press editorial team have edited out part of the cartoon, namely the two bodies to the left of what appears to be protesters and councillors.
This cartoon has not just been cropped, the bodies have actually been removed as you’ll see when comparing between what you see above with the original on the left.
We’re puzzled as to why The County Press felt they had to adapt the cartoon – any ideas as why they might’ve done this?
