The streets of Ventnor will be transformed this Saturday (12th) as VentnorVille returns for a Christmas extravaganza.
Once again, shops, restaurants and businesses will be putting their best effort into attracting Islanders to the town for the annual Christmas shopping bonanza.
Free parking
Ventnor Town council have announced free parking all day in the Dudley Road car park, which is just a very short walk to the shopping area. There’ll also be free parking in that particular car park on Thursday 17th, Saturday 19th and Thursday 24th December.
Seek out the ‘Alternative Food Market’ in the former Youth Centre (opposite the Spar on Victoria Street) as well as the ‘Arts and Crafts Fair’ at the Ventnor Winter Gardens.
In a nutshell!
Lesley’s Nutshell at 26 Pier Street has loads of amazing gifts for young and old – many fairtrade and hand-made – as well as having a licence to sell the new Isle of Wight Gin from the Isle of Wight Distillery for the next week (from Saturday).
Ventnor Exchange will be taking part with free creative workshops for children, a vinyl market and buskers throughout the day.
In the evening they’ll have live music from Paul Armfield for their launch of Ventnor Fringe 2016 (entry £3), so why not hang around and make a full day and evening of it.
