The public vote for Red Funnel’s 2023 charity of the year is now open.
After an application process, three charities have been shortlisted by Red Funnel team members: the RSPCA (Isle of Wight Branch), Independent Arts, and Aspire.
Each year, Red Funnel selects one charity to focus its fundraising efforts on, through a public vote.
Collins: We recognise our responsibility in supporting local causes
Fran Collins, Chief Executive Officer at Red Funnel, said,
“We are excited to announce voting is now open for our charity of the year. 2023 marks the ninth year we have offered the charity of the year scheme.
“In that time, we have worked with some superb local charities, including Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, Mountbatten Hospice, Isle of Wight Independent Lifeboats, and this year’s charity, Young Lives vs Cancer.
“Partnering with Isle of Wight charities is extremely important to us and we recognise our responsibility in supporting local causes, close to the hearts of our teams and customers. We look forward to getting behind the organisation the public chooses and continuing to help to make a difference in 2023.”
