There are lots of venues around the Island taking part in the Heritage Open Days, which aims celebrate England’s architecture and culture by allowing visitors free access to interesting properties that are either not usually open, or would normally charge an entrance fee.

- Brading Roman Villa on Friday between 9.30-4pm
- Outside Carisbrooke Castle and Carisbrooke Village Ghost and History Walk on Sunday with Tours at 11am and 2.30pm
- Isle of Wight Bus Museum, Newport on Saturday and Sunday between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
- Museum of Island History, Newport on Saturday between 10am and 5pm
- Newport Roman Villa on Saturday between 10am and 4pm
- Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Havenstreet on Thursday and Friday between 10.30am and 5pm. Saturday and Sunday same time with with Workshop tours.
- Ryde Cemetery on Friday and Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
- Shanklin Chine Historic Gorge on Saturday between 2pm and 10pm (weather permitting)
- Ventnor Heritage Museum on Sunday between 1.30pm and 5pm
- Underwater Archaeology Centre, Yarmouth on Saturday between 10am and 5pm.
