Another Island business had a great boost at the weekend with a feature in one of the national broadsheets.
This is another particular favourite of ours, Hillside Ventnor.
Travel writer, Fiona Duncan made a recent visit to Hillside after her nephew saw it featured on Trip Advisor.
Fiona, who goes under the title of Hotel Guru with the Telegraph, says she’s fond of Ventnor, so making the trip to the south of the Wight wasn’t a chore in the slightest.
Incredibly stylish, airy, harmonious and tranquil
The sleek renovation of the large Georgian villa nestled into the hill-side, overlooking Ventnor tennis courts, certainly impressed. She speaks highly of the hosts, Gert and Anna, as well as the fabulous food (see our review of the restaurant).
As always, these kind of reviews are great for the Island, so well done to Gert and Anna for doing such a great job and continuing to put the Isle of Wight on the map.
