For those who wish to take part, tonight sees the Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony take place.
The event will see leading Islanders pay their respects at the annual event organised jointly by the IW Jewish Society and the Salvation Army.
This year the theme is ‘Untold Stories’.
We’re told that this will include readings by local school children about events in Rwanda, Darfur, Armenia, Cambodia, as well as the Nazi-led ‘Final Solution’.
