Customers of HoverTravel have faced disruption this week following a fire on board the Island Express hovercraft on Sunday evening. No-one was on board when the fire broke out and it was dealt with swiftly by the Isle of Wight fire service.
A one craft service has been in operation since and will continue whilst the company await delivery of replacement system components.
Several crossings are cancelled today and tomorrow, as follows:
Wednesday: Departing Ryde at 1630, 1700 and 1730 and departing Southsea at 1645, 1715 and 1745.
Thurs morning: Departing Ryde at 0730 and 0800 and departing Southsea at 0745 and 0815.
