Congratulations to Hovertravel’s PR agency, who have been shortlisted for an award.
Readers may remember that Hovertravel extended their timetable earlier in the year, meaning we could get across the Solent on the Hover later than we have done for at least a decade.
The late services PR campaign has been shortlisted in the CIPR Pride awards in the Consumer Relations category.
The campaign is being praised for the use of photography, competitions, posters, partner discounts and an introductory offer whereby tickets were sold for just £1 for a special two week period.
We’re big fans of the Hover and still get excited every time we travel across the Solent on it, especially as it was invented on the Isle of Wight by Sir Christopher Sydney Cockerell.
