Speedway action returns to Smallbrook tomorrow (Tuesday) night after a fortnight's gap when the Wightlink Islanders take on the Stoke Potters in a National Trophy match, start time 7.30pm.
Having shocked the speedway world by reaching the National League KO Cup Final courtesy of stunning home and away replay wins over semi-final opponents Mildenhall, the Wightlink Islanders are determined to enjoy themselves in the two legged final against league champions Dudley.
Planning permission for the new indoor sports centre with ice rink, multi-use courts, climbing wall, trampoline area and tennis courts runs out at the end of this year
The full Wightlink Warriors team and invited riders will take to the Smallbrook track to contest the Vince Mapley Memorial Individual trophy on 7th April.
