It's the news all speedway fans on the Isle of Wight have been waiting for. Well done to all involved in securing a place for Island Speedway in the National League
Speedway action returns to Smallbrook tomorrow (Tuesday) night after a fortnight's gap when the Wightlink Islanders take on the Stoke Potters in a National Trophy match, start time 7.30pm.
A free celebration to the life of Bryn Williams, a man who gave so much to the Island Speedway teams over the years will take place in April at Smallbrook.
The 2016 Speedway season is drawing closer and Smallbrook Stadium has been a hive of activity, not to mention promotion of the Wightlink Warriors off the Island too.
The speedway Warriors achieved a hard-earned victory over Kent Kings in last night's National League meeting, taking a maximum heat advantage in the final race to secure the victory and all three league points.
