Shaw Taylor was a much-loved character, well known on the Isle of Wight, where he chose to live . The IW Labour Party says he was a keen supporter of the party in their tribute.
This coming Saturday night, The West Wight Slipshod Singers will perform with a special guest soloist at Christ Church, Totland in a Poppy Day Appeal Concert.
All proceeds from this concert, which features the SlipShod Singers and very special guests will be distributed by the Catholic Aid Agency (CAFOD) to help the desperate plight of Syrian refugees.
