Thanks to Janneke for this update, in her own words. Ed
Two more top quality music acts have been added to the headline line-up at Isle of Arts.
On Friday 2nd May Festival goers will have a very rare chance to see the Kyle Eastwood Band.
Bass player Kyle is the eldest son of acting legend Clint Eastwood. Based in France, he and his fellow band members will be playing a short tour of the UK at the end of April and early May.
Kyle grew up with jazz as his childhood soundtrack and is a master of both acoustic and electric bass. When not busy appearing with his band, Kyle is an accomplished composer who has provided music for several of his father’s films, including Gran Torino and Million Dollar Baby.
The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain
Equally exciting, but in a different musical genre, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain will be making a very welcome appearance at Isle of Arts on Sunday 4th May.
Selling out wherever they appear across the globe, these amazing all singing and all strumming musicians blend comedy with craftsmanship and entertain audiences of all ages. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see them live and close up!
